Doctor
Dr. Ronald L Moiles DVM , DVM Dr. Moiles is the owner and Hospital Administrator of the Kalamazoo Animal Hospital. He received his veterinary medical degree from Michigan State University in 1981. He was born and raised in Michigan and moved to the Kalamazoo area in 1983. He is married, lives in Mattawan and has two boys in the Mattawan Public School System. He has two dogs: Remy (a chocolate Lab) and Zoe (a Doberman) as well as two cats: Ace Ventura, B.S.(Baby Shamoo).
Kimberly A Boswell DVM, ACVS , DVM, ACVS
Dr. Boswell grew up in Normal, IL and attended University of Illinois where she earned her undergraduate in biology and also her Doctorate of Veterinary medicine in 1994. After graduation, she did a 1 year internship at Animal Medical Center in NY, NY and then did a 3 year surgical combined residency at Tufts and Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston, MA. Dr. Boswell received her American College of Veterinary Surgeons board certification in 2002. She has been with our hospital since March 1999.
Dr. Boswell and her husband, Dr. Chenoweth, enjoy spending time with their two wonderful children. She enjoys playing with the kids, rollerblading, hiking, and traveling.
Jim Chenoweth DVM , DVM
Dr. Chenoweth grew up in Wagner, SD where he earned his Bachelor of Arts from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD. He attended University of Illinois where he received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. After graduation he moved to Boston, MA where he did an intership in medicine and surgery at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital and also practiced at small animal emergency hospitals in the area.
Dr. Chenoweth has been with our hospital since August 1998. He and his wife, Dr. Boswell, enjoy spending time with their two wonderful children. He has numerous finches and fish. He enjoys taking care of the kids, canoeing, traveling, and K-wings hockey.

Kate Duncan DVM , DVM Kate is originally from Battle Creek, MI, where she graduated from Pennfield High School. She earned a bachelor degree in Environmental Science and Public Policy from Harvard, and a doctorate in veterinary medicine from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. During veterinary school she spent some time in South Africa studying wildlife capture medicine. After veterinary school, she completed an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at Animal Emergency and Referral Center in Northbrook, IL. After completing her education, she returned to southwest Michigan to practice medicine and raise a family. Her professional interests within the field of small animal medicine include surgery, laser surgery, emergency medicine, and rabbit medicine. Her outside interests include snowboarding, playing guitar, golfing, and travel
